I wasn’t sure if I wanted to continue reading, but the last third was an exciting rollercoaster ride and I enjoyed every minute of it. The first part of the story was a bit slow for me, maybe because I was learning what I had missed in the previous two books. And her sister Seraphina was so sweet and loving and touched me. I would like to see him have his own story. His brother Matt was a great character and he was one of my favorite people of all time. I loved his relationship with his brothers and would have loved to see it explored further. She could feel the depth of Bailey’s emotions and pain as she worked through her pain to find her way back to herself. I was so drawn to Kash, intimidating and dangerous with the power to kill when needed but his vulnerability when it came to Bailey. There was the perfect amount of heartbreak and I never doubted that this couple was together. I loved how they could really see each other in the depths of their souls, breaking down walls and letting the intensity of their love shine through. Throughout the suspense and surprising turn of events, Bailey and Kash’s love never faded. Who could you trust? And more importantly, could Bailey and Kash’s love survive all the challenges and threats they face? Control and power struggled with the freedom struggle as alliances and allegiances were formed. This fast-paced book was filled with danger and intrigue, with unexpected twists around every corner, each revealing secrets and lies. And there were so many layers to unravel. While I would recommend reading this as a full trilogy, I haven’t read the others in the series and was able to catch up on everything that’s going on. She had always been his weakness and also that drove everything he did. Throughout it all, his love for Bailey never wavered and continued to burn with a wild passion. Meanwhile, Kash was on a mission to find and kill his grandfather, a man of pure evil.
